design-BUSAN is a citywide design festival that connects spaces and places across Busan.
Inspired by the city’s unique character—from its ports and industrial heritage to its coastline and streets—Busan becomes a stage for exhibitions, interactive experiences, and creative exchange, inviting residents and visitors to discover design in new ways.
CityWide Design Lab
design-BUSAN connects Busan’s industrial, cultural, and maritime resources with creative ideas, creating new possibilities for content, business, and collaboration.
As a “Citywide Design Lab,” design-BUSAN develops a design model rooted in Busan, addressing global priorities – from circular economy and sustainability to urban regeneration and the marine environment.
design-BUSAN aims to become a leading international design platform, bringing Busan’s vision and strategy for World Design Capital(WDC) 2028.
